Where are all the heavyweights in boxing gone? and where are they?!?!

I wonder if that division will ever live up to the hype like it did in the early 70's 80's and 90's.

Heavyweights

It appears that it has had it's run and now with so many other new sport choices such as MMA and even poker, and established sports growing stronger like the NFL, NBA and college sports, boxing is having a tough time. Some sports look great on Hi-Def...boxing not so much. In the eighties and early nineties I watched alot of boxing and we did the pay per view fights getting everyone together but we haven't done that for 15 years now.
